We are a leading provider of night-time Star Safari tours in Tenerife, operating five tours every week and with more than 10,000 customers every year. Tickets are sold to customers through various media, including our own website, third-party websites such as TripAdvisor and third-party excursion shops.

From our new offices in Golf del Sur we require an assistant to help manage the ticket bookings and customer correspondence. The candidates should be familiar and competent with technology including email, social media, WhatsApp and spreadsheets and should also be confident, polite and efficient dealing with customers and third-party sellers on the telephone.

Although this is currently envisaged as being a 20 hour per week contract, there is scope for this role to grow in the future, so it would also be beneficial if the candidate had future flexibility.

DUTIES

Assist the Owners in all aspects of office administration
Liaise with customers and third-party sellers, book and record tickets
Monitor telephone, email and WhatsApp and respond to customer queries and complaints
Populate the daily tour sheet and ensure its accuracy
DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Ability to organise, communicate, deal with stakeholders
To be thorough and pay attention to detail
Diligent, reliable and willingness to be flexible
Experience of office procedures and tools (email, social media, WhatsApp and Excel)
Good command of social media (Facebook, Instagram, Snap Chat etc)
Used to a fast-paced environment, juggling tasks and meeting deadlines
Background in travel or hospitality advantageous
Job Types: Part-time, 20 hours per week
Salary: 10€ per hour
Schedule:
4 hours shift every morning (10am – 2pm)
Tuesday to Saturday
